Kentucky volleyball releases 2024 Non-Conference schedule

The University of Kentucky volleyball team has released its full non-conference schedule for this upcoming 2024 season.

Five out of the 11 opponents finished last season in the Top 25, including No. 2 Nebraska, No. 22 Western Kentucky University, No. 12 Penn State, No. 6 Louisville, and No. 5 Stanford.

Kentucky will host in-state opponents in back-to-back games, where they play Northern Kentucky University, WKU, and Morehead State on the last weekend of August.

The ‘Cats have scheduled some NCAA powerhouses as well, hosting Penn State in early September and traveling to Stanford before conference play begins.

The back end of the schedule includes Louisville, the 2022 national runner-ups, and a consistent deep runner in postseason play.

Kentucky will get to take a look at the Cardinals early this season at the AVCA First Serve Showcase, where the ‘Cats open up the fall with a game against Nebraska at Louisville. The showcase is a double-header, as Kentucky will vet the Cardinals in its match against Wisconsin.

With only a handful away games on the non-conference schedule (and one being right down the road at Louisville), Kentucky will likely fill Memorial Coliseum with eager fans this fall.
