The top goal for Kentucky baseball on Sunday in the Clemson regional was to play two. That has now turned into an opportunity to win two. Kentucky is a win away from setting up a sudden death championship matchup on Monday night.

But to watch that game you will need to have access to ESPN’s subscription service.

First pitch between Kentucky and West Virginia will be at 6:00 p.m. ET/5:00 p.m. CT. The game will air on ESPN+. These two teams met on Friday in the opening game of this regional. West Virginia erased an early deficit and earned a walk-off win to move to the winners bracket. Now the Bat Cats will look to even the series at Doug Kingsmore Stadium.

Kentucky crushes Clemson in elimination game

No. 3 seed Kentucky kept its season alive for at least one more game with a dominant 16-4 win over No. 1 seed Clemson in Sunday afternoon’s losers bracket final in the Clemson regional.

The Bat Cats lineup exploded against Clemson’s pitching staff by posting 16 runs on 13 hits. Kentucky was also aided by seven Clemson errors. Eight of Kentucky’s nine offensive players recorded a hit, with four recording multi-hit games. Freshman right-hander Nate Harris was stellar in his first career NCAA Tournament start on Sunday. Harris held Clemson to just three runs on six hits in six innings. He tied his career-high with seven strikeouts.
