Prime Backstreet Boys concert tickets: $675. Flight, hotel, and overpriced dinners: $1,250. Late night blackjack losses: $500. Getting Kevin Richardson to throw Ls down on stage at the Sphere: Priceless.

It was a nostalgic night from the ’90s in the most modern and technologically advanced stadiums on the planet. The most iconic boy bands to ever grace the airwaves are performing several shows in Sin City this summer, but Lexington native Kevin Richardson never forgets his roots.

Kentucky fan Ronnie King was in attendance at the epic residency (with what looks like really good seats) on Friday, and by his own account, did the Lord’s work. He got Kevin to throw the Ls down, the universal sign of love and connection between two strangers of Big Blue Nation.

Richardson is no stranger to UK Athletics. He visited a football practice in the past, has been on Finebaum talking up the ‘Cats, and has talked to Matt Jones on KSR. His bandmate (and cousin), Brian Littrell, is also a Kentucky fan, but until he throws Ls down on stage, does he even really bleed blue?

Again, shoutout to Ronnie King for even thinking about getting Richardson to do this, much less actually making it happen. You are, indeed, doing the Lord’s work, good sir.
