KSR's 2025-26 Kentucky High School Boys Basketball Top 25 Rankings: Week 1

With the high school football season in the books, all eyes turn toward the hardwood.

And the first week of the 2025-26 Kentucky high school boys basketball season brought plenty of excitement to get things rolling. We saw a significant amount of movement in KSR’s second Top 25 rankings update of the young season. The top three, led by the St. Xavier Tigers, remained unchanged, but nearly every other team experienced some kind of movement. A handful of schools fell out of the rankings entirely, while Marshall County made its season debut in the Top 25.
