With the 2023-24 high school boys’ basketball season now in the books, it’s time for KSR’s final rankings update ahead of the offseason.

On Saturday night in the Sweet 16 state championship, the Lyon County Lyons took down the Harlan County Black Bears 67-58 behind 27 points and five assists from Kentucky signee and Mr. Basketball winner Travis Perry. It was the first-ever title game appearance for both schools; Rupp Arena’s lower bowl was filled to the brim with people from all over the state.

As you might have guessed, Lyon County ends the season as KSR’s top-ranked team in the Bluegrass, followed by Great Crossing (semifinalist) and Harlan County (runners-up) to round out the top three. Check out KSR’s entire Top 25 below, along with a look ahead to the teams that will be in contention for a state title next season.
