UK Fans of the Day want a KSR/Kentucky Baseball Programming Note

Thanks to Mother Nature, the Kentucky Baseball team gets a night of rest before an elimination game vs. Florida. Unfortunately, that creates a scheduling conflict with your favorite radio show.

Due to storms in the Omaha area, Kentucky vs. Florida in the College World Series has been pushed from tonight to Wednesday at 10 a.m. CT/11 a.m. ET. Kentucky Sports Radio the show is still on as scheduled from 10 a.m. to Noon ET. At 10:45 a.m., 630 WLAP in Lexington and 790 WKRD in Louisville will break away for the UK Sports Network baseball pregame show and the game broadcast featuring Darren Headrick and Keith Madison at 11:00 a.m. ET. If you’d rather listen to KSR than Kentucky Baseball, you’ll be able to hear the show on our other affiliates, a list of which is at the bottom of this post. I hear the Somerset one is great.

Ryan Lemond, Shannon the Dude, and Billy Rutledge will provide plenty of baseball updates during the game. At 10:30 a.m., they’ll also be joined by Jasper Johnson at KSBar. The Lexington native and 2025 five-star point guard is unofficially visiting Kentucky today, so I’m sure he’ll have plenty to talk about. Tyler Ulis, the new head coach of La Familia, Kentucky’s alumni team in The Basketball Tournament, will also call in at 11:30 a.m.

If you’d rather listen to baseball, no worries. The show will be on podcast tomorrow afternoon (assuming there are no technical difficulties). If Kentucky beats Florida, they’ll play Texas A&M at 6 p.m. CT/7 p.m. ET on Wednesday night. Both games will air on ESPN.
