Good morning, Big Blue Nation. It’s time to crown another major champion.

In Western New York, the final round of the 2023 PGA Championship will be played today at Oak Hill. So far, the course has been the big winner as scoring has been fairly difficult. Our picks with KSR Golf are not looking that great, but I think Brooks Koepka over Rory McIlroy is going to cash. The action starts on ESPN before Jim Nantz and the crew take over on CBS at 1:00 p.m. ET. Will Koepka bring home his third Wanamaker Trophy? He leads the field at six-under but Corey Conners and Viktor Hovland are each just one shot back at five-under.

Below are the tee times for round four.

Kentucky baseball will be No. 8 seed at SEC Tournament

On Saturday, Kentucky dropped another SEC series with a home loss to Florida. The Bat Cats are now 36-17 (16-14) with the postseason beginning this week. Nick Mingione’s team will travel to Hoover this week to begin the SEC Tournament.

The Cats will play on day one as the No. 8 seed.

Kentucky will begin the tournament against No. 9 seed Alabama at 5:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday. The first round is a single-elimination format. With a win, Kentucky would move on to face No. 1 seed Florida in the double-elimination round on Wednesday. Last season, Kentucky made it all the way to the semifinals until bowing out against Tennessee.

UK will attempt to make another run this week before hopefully hosting an NCAA Tournament regional for the first time since 2017.

Arizona lands Keshad Johnson

San Diego State forward Keshad Johnson quickly emerged as a key transfer portal target for Kentucky basketball. Unfortunately, the ending of this recruitment did go UK’s way.

The Mountain West transfer ended things on Saturday with a commitment to Arizona. The 6-foot-7 veteran will stay on the west coast to play for head coach Tommy Lloyd in Tucson picking the Wildcats over Kentucky, Oklahoma, Texas Tech, and USC.

John Calipari’s upcoming 2023-24 squad currently has seven confirmed scholarship players with move-in scheduled for early June. DJ Wagner, Rob Dillingham, Justin Edwards, Aaron Bradshaw and Reed Sheppard will be joined by Ugonna Onyenso and Adou Thiero. However, the Cats continue to play the waiting game.

Antonio Reeves is testing the draft waters and is seen as a likely returnee, while Oscar Tshiebwe and Chris Livingston could technically do the same, albeit unlikely. Long story short, there are roster spots to fill.

Expect Kentucky to make another run at some transfer candidates soon. The team will officially be without Lance Ware on the roster after the former UK big committed to Villanova on Saturday.

National Treasure wins 148th Preakness Stakes

Bob Baffert is back in the winner’s circle. The famous trainer who has been mired in controversy in recent years claimed his 17th Triple Crown victory on Saturday.

National Treasure (5/2) brought home the title on Saturday in a thrilling finish at Pimlico.

All eyes will be on the horse racing world again in three weeks when the Triple Crown moves to New York for the Belmont Stakes.
