KSR's 2020 Preseason All-SEC Football Teams

Dale Zanine | USATSI
Coronavirus prevented the KSR football crew from traveling to Atlanta for SEC Media Days. The delay made us miss an opportunity to fulfill a few annual traditions. After guzzling gallons of Diet Dr. Pepper, we’re now prepared to share our 2020 preseason All-SEC selections.

In Freddie’s Words — I have a higher number of Kentucky players on my All SEC team than most. Remember, it’s not personal, it’s personnel. I stand behind my choices.
Quarterback was a tough decision. I’ve not seen enough of Trask to have him ahead of Mond. In all reality, Terry Wilson would have been in this conversation of not for the injury. Max Duffy is the most sure fire selection and if you equaled positions in evaluational quality might be the best player in the league.

In Roush’s Words — Of course, I’m going to use this opportunity to load up on UK votes (eat it, Alex Leatherwood). Even though Kylin Hill is probably the most talented running back in the SEC, I worry about how he’ll be used in Mike Leach’s Air Raid. On the other side of the ball, I prefer saying Erroll Thompson’s name much more than Tennessee’s Henry To’o To’o and the fact that Thompson is about as nasty as it gets inside. The edge position is thin in the league this year. Boogie Watson is posted to be the league’s top pass rusher.
