KSR’s Week 7 high school boys’ basketball statewide rankings have been released.

The top four remains unchanged, but there was some movement among the Top 10 as St. Xavier moved up three spots to No. 5 after winning the prestigious Louisville Invitational Tournament. Bryan Station moved up 10 spots to No. 12 thanks to picking up ranked district wins over No. 16 Frederick Douglass (73-60) and No. 21 Henry Clay (77-51). Sophomore Amari Owens (22.4 ppg) is having a sensational season for the 15-1 Defenders, which finished 11-19 last year.

Elsewhere, North Oldham and Corbin each moved up six spots. The Mustangs downed then-No. 7 Evangel Christian 85-75, while the Redhounds knocked off then-No. 24 Madison Southern 76-66.

Additionally, Corbin, Boyd County, and Louisville Butler all moved back into the rankings after dropping out earlier this season. Daviess County made their rankings debut at No. 25.

Finally, Henry Clay and DeSales each dropped seven spots whle Evangel Christian dropped six. The Blue Devils lost their first game of the season while DeSales lost 63-61 to Fleming County.
