KSR's Week 4 Kentucky High School Football Rankings

Week 4 of the 2022 Kentucky high school football season is in the books.

There wasn’t much movement at the top of the updated rankings as we enter Week 5, but we did see the likes of Christian Academy of Louisville and Corbin both slide into the top 10 with big wins over Lexington Christian Academy and Pulaski County, respectively.

KSR’s Week 4 Top 25 (+1) rankings

  1. St. Xavier (3-0): Bye
  2. Frederick Douglass (4-0): Def. Dunbar 54-7 | TJ Horton rushed for three scores.
  3. Trinity (3-1): Def. La Salle (OH) 31-10 | Drew Allen threw for two touchdowns and ran for another while Jeremiah Lynn returned a kickoff for a touchdown.
  4. Boyle County (4-0): Def. Henderson County 31-17 | Sage Dawson tossed four touchdown passes to Montavin Quisenberry and rushed for 100 yards.
  5. Ballard (4-0): Def. Franklin County 44-8 | Jaden Minkins returned an interception to the one-yard line and returned a punt for a touchdown.
  6. Beechwood (4-0): Def. Simon Kenton 30-7 | Mitchell Berger and Landon Aylor each rushed for two touchdowns.
  7. DuPont Manual (4-0): Def. Valley 47-0 | Tyree Stoner was 4-for-5 for 112 yards and two touchdowns 
  8. Woodford County (4-0): Def. Tates Creek 54-0 | Andrew Nason had three touchdowns (two passing, one rushing).
  9. Christian Academy of Louisville (4-0): Def. Lexington Christian Academy 49-14 | Gavin Copenhaver rushed for 89 yards and two scores while catching four passes for 107 yards and two touchdowns. He also led the team in tackles.
  10. Corbin (4-0): Def. Pulaski County 24-21 | Kade Elam rushed for two touchdowns.
