RISE_042011_kuran_iverson_sportsnation Analysts across the land have lauded Kentucky's incoming freshmen class as the best in history. Even without Andrew Wiggins, John Calipari has assembled the best group of talent college basketball has seen, including the #1 power forward (Julius Randle), the #1 point guard (Andrew Harrison), the #1 shooting guard (Aaron Harrison), the #2 center (Dakari Johnson), and the #3 small forward (James Young). While there may be some dissent as to whether or not it's the best in history, everyone agrees they're the best class in the nation. Except for Memphis incoming freshman Kuran Iverson. Iverson told SNY.tv that he thinks Memphis' incoming freshman class, which ESPN ranks third, is better than Kentucky's. Seriously:
“Everybody talking about Kentucky hype, but there ain’t really gonna be no Kentucky hype. There’s gonna be some Memphis hype.” Do you think you guys are better than them? “Yeah, way better,” he said. “Way better. They talented, we work hard.
Boys, I think we have the first quote for the bulletin board.
