Late Night Notes
A couple of quick things before an early tip against Georgia.....
--- Great article in the Herald today about some comments made by Gillispie on the team. He essentially says that for UK to be great, Deandre Liggins has to be on the floor (I agree) and that he and Harrellson, Stewart and Miller must step up and grab playing time. Interesting that no mention of Galloway was made by the Coach, even though his playing time has been small as well.
--- Georgia on the road is one of those loseable SEC road games that great teams have to find their way to fight through. Beating Tennessee does little good if you turn around and lose to Georgia. The staff has stressed this point to the team this week and it should be interesting to see how they come out and respond.
--- Arkansas loses by 15 on the road today to Florida, making them 0-3 in the conference. Some said it was premature for me to write them off as conference title contendersafter their first home loss to Mississippi State.....is it still premature now?
--- Ole Miss should have been a tournament team.....they lost by 30 at home to LSU today. Could the Tigers be good now that they finally have a coach?
