Legion Sighting? Darrington Hobson to New Mexico
Darrington Hobson, the player everyone wanted but no one knew, committed to New Mexico today according to a New Mexico website. The former Pepperdine commit now gets to be a part of Lobo nation after Kentucky made a bit of contact (but no offer).
Two people called me last night (including one Sports Mobber) to tell me that the UK staff was eating at Sal's last night with an individual they thought was Alex Legion. This news is utterly irrelevant, except to show that the staff loves a good steak. Legion told Rivals.com yesterday that Michigan was out. His mother has previously said UCONN and UCLA are out. That means UK and Kansas seem like the favorites, with a looming Billy Donovan shark still in the mix.
