LOOK: 2026 targets Caleb Holt, Maximo Adams rock Kentucky blue and white during OVs

Head coach Mark Pope and the Kentucky men’s basketball staff hosted a couple of talented high school recruits over the weekend.
Class of 2026 prospects Caleb Holt and Maximo Adams spent the last few days in Lexington for their official visits. Holt, a 6-foot-5 guard, is a five-star recruit checking in at No. 4 overall by the Rivals Industry Ranking, while Adams, a 6-foot-7 wing, isn’t too far behind with four-star status and a No. 23 overall ranking. Both of them arrived on Friday and stayed throughout the weekend to learn the ins and outs of what Pope’s program is all about.
And of course, that means they received the blue carpet treatment. Jacob Polacheck of KSR+ has more info on where Kentucky stands with both coming off their officials. But we can go ahead and picture what it would look like if one (or both) of them ended up committing to the Wildcats. Holt and Adams posted pictures on Instagram of themselves rocking Kentucky jerseys.
Holt posed with assistant coach Jason Hart during his photoshoot while Adams was with Pope. Of note, Adam’s older brother, Marcus Adams Jr., played for Pope while at BYU. Someone needs to find out where we can find that white Kentucky jacket, too.

Holt, who picked up his Kentucky offer in July 2024, currently plays for Prolific Prep out in California. He’s already taken official visits to Ole Miss and Arkansas, with stops at Alabama and Auburn locked in for October. A native of Alabama, Holt has been made a priority by the Crimson Tide and Tigers, but UK is right there in the mix.
As for Adams, he’s a newer prospect on Kentucky’s radar, having earned an offer back in July following an impressive summer on the Nike EYBL circuit. Also playing his high school ball out in California at Sierra Canyon, Adams has already OV’d at Southern California. Moving forward, he’ll make stops at Michigan State, Kansas, Texas, North Carolina, and Duke.
Holt and Adams kicked off what will be a string of official visits hosted by Kentucky. Up next, the ‘Cats will bring four-star center Arafan Diane to campus this weekend. As it currently stands, nine more 2026 recruits will officially visit Kentucky between now and the middle of October. Buckle up, BBN.
