The installation process of the chairback seats is fully underway and is expected to be completed by the start of the season, but this is one of our first true looks at the progress that is being made. https://twitter.com/UKCoachCalipari/status/1168210255202914307 The rest of the Rupp Arena renovations have been put on hold with the club areas not coming until the start of next season. http://kentuckysportsradio.com/basketball-2/construction-delays-the-opening-of-rupp-arena-club-areas/ As someone that has spent many games crammed in the upper deck, the chairback seats are going to improve things drastically. I think it will definitely motivate the average fan to attend more games because they will actually get more room. Plus, for those fans that are taller than 6-feet, we might actually get at least a little bit of legroom.
