LOOK: Morehead State has a Turnover Cane
Miami is taking a backseat to Morehead State.
The Hurricanes became trendsetters in 2017 when they unveiled the bejeweled “U” turnover chain, awarded to a defensive player on the sideline after forcing a turnover. If you thought Miami’s chain was pimpin’, wait till you see what Morehead State has on the sidelines this season.
In the fourth quarter of Morehead State’s season-opening 44-7 victory over Union, junior defensive back Isaiah Tigler picked off a pass. When he returned to the sideline, he was handed the turnover cane to celebrate the interception.
