After over three decades of losing to Florida on the gridiron, the Cats went down to Gainesville and stole a win from the 25th-ranked Gators, the first since 1986. Finally, the streak is over. Finally, we can put the black cloud behind us. And it appears Kentucky has a damn good football team this year. Let's revisit the excitement on this Monday morning with 10 of the best things from the victory.   1. Touchdown Terry Kentucky has a quarterback. Terry Wilson threw for 151 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing for another 107 yards in the victory. Sure, he had two turnovers, but overall he was a star in his first career SEC road start. Wilson's running back, Benny Snell, couldn't even find the words to say in the postgame press conference. “Oh my gosh, I can’t even get started on Terry," he said. "Did you see him?  Did you see what he was doing?” 2. Benny Snell rushed for 171 yards But honestly, are we surprised by anything Benny Snell does anymore? 3. The shoutout-out to KSBar and Grille Thank you, Tom Hart. We need to get that menu changed. 4. The offensive line Kentucky's offensive line was incredible. Together, the big guys paved the way for over 300 rushing yards. Even better, they didn't allow a single sack or hurry on the QB. The UK O-line dominated the Gators throughout the entire game. 5. Kentucky's defense  The Cats' defense put on a show against Florida in holding the Gators to only 16 points in the game. Dan Mullen's Mississippi State teams averaged over 40 points per game against Kentucky the last nine seasons, so many expected he would do more of the same with his new team of Florida athletes. However, Mark Stoops has his best defense yet and they proved it Saturday night. The secondary was great. The linebackers were great. The defensive line was great. Everyone was great. 6. Kash Daniel's Stone Cold Steve Austin impersonation https://twitter.com/KashDaniel15/status/1038854278838931457 I've watched that video no less than 400 times. 7. Lynn Bowden scored his first touchdown. Bowden broke free on a 3rd-and-16 late in the third quarter to find the end zone on a 54-yard reception to put his team up 21-10. It was the first TD of his career; the first of many, we can assume. Kentucky finished the game 9-of-13 on third down conversions. 8. The players doing the Gator Chomp after the game Derrick Baity, a Florida boy, was among the many Cats who taunted The Swamp with the Gator Chomp after earning the victory. 9. John Schlarman receiving the game ball in the locker room [caption id="" align="alignnone" width="1200"] (Photo: UKAthletics/@UKFootball)[/caption] Kentucky dedicated its victory to offensive line coach John Schlarman, who is battling cancer and still coaching his team through chemo, and Josh Paschal, who is missing his sophomore season battling malignant melanoma. The photo of Schlarman holding the ball in the locker room after the game is awesome. 10. The celebration at KSBar and Grille Go Cats.
