Louisville coach and ex-Wake Forest radio analyst met night before matchup

angry-petrino CBS Sports is reporting that Lonnie Galloway, Lousville's co-offensive coordinator, met up with Wake Forest radio analyst Tommy Elrod, the night before Wake Forest took on Louisville at Papa John's Stadium. Phone records reveal that Galloway initiated a 25-minute phone conversation with Elrod on November 9th, three days before kickoff.  Two days later on November 11, the two exchanged text messages in preparation for their meeting.
  • Elrod at 8:37 p.m.: "On way now."
  • Galloway at 8:48 p.m.: "OK. Sitting by fire pit."
  • Elrod at 8:59 p.m.: "Outside?"
Famously named "Wakey-Leaks", this Louisville scandal began after the Demon Deacons came up short 44-12 in Louisville on Nov. 12. After the close loss, not indicated by the final score, a Wake Forest affiliate reported that they had found confidential game-plan related documents lying around the Louisville facility.
