The administrators at LSU expect a requirement for masks when students return to campus in the fall.

On Tuesday the university’s interim president, Tom Galligan, hosted some folks in an online discussion and he said it will be a strict mask policy, and may even extend to college football games in Tiger Stadium.

The defending champ’s home stadium averaged over 100,000 fans per game in 2019, so the possibility of limited crowds with a mask requirement will be a huge change for Death Valley. That being said, none of this has been finalized as Galligan notes, “we’re going to know more in 30 days than we know right now.”
