Kentucky Sports Radio had its first ever Presidential candidate on the show this morning when United States Senator Marco Rubio called in to chat with the guys. Rubio, fresh off watching the Pope address the joint session of Congress, opened up his KSR interview by telling our listeners, "Patrick Towles has a rocket of an arm." "All I know is he can throw the ball," Rubio, a Florida fan, told BBN. "I don't know if he's accurate or can do it consistently, but that guy can throw the football." The discussion then changed to Kentucky basketball and Billy Donovan leaving the Florida program. Rubio believes Donovan made the right move to test the NBA and Donovan will find success with the Thunder. Once the sports talk was out of the way, things shifted toward the Presidential race, specifically Donald Trump. Rubio took some not-so-subtle shots at Trump, saying he is "not well-informed" and can only speak in 10 second sound bites on key issues. Shots fired. All in all, it was a great interview and kudos to Rubio for not dodging a single question. Listen below: https://twitter.com/marcorubio/status/647087795404689408
