Mark Pope celebrated the win at Carson's and sang Happy Birthday to a Kentucky fan

Carson’s Food & Drink is hands-down one of the best restaurants in Lexington. If you haven’t tried it yet, make sure you stop in and enjoy a meal and a drink or two.
You may just see Mark Pope having a celebratory dinner like the Kentucky head coach did following his team’s top-10 victory over No. 6 Florida on Saturday. Or was it to celebrate a UK fan’s birthday? Let’s call it both.
Just a few short hours after the 106-100 win inside Rupp Arena, a member of BBN was a table over from the Pope crew having birthday dinner when Pope joined in on the fun, singing Happy Birthday to the bunch. BBN member Clint Daniel Wilson posted the video on social media of his friend being serenaded by the Popes this afternoon.

Mind you, this came after Pope stuck around for an hour-plus after the win went final to sign autographs and take pictures with fans at Rupp Arena, just as he does after every game. No matter how late or early, he’s gonna make the time.
Man of the people, indeed.
