Mark Stoops has room for "one or two more" in the 2019 Class

Mark Stoops has already received one fax from a four-star prospect on National Signing Day.  Before the day is over the Cats could add more, but the decisions will go down to the wire. "Honestly, I don't know at this point. I got a couple scholarships out there. We'd like to add one to two more this morning. That's all we have room for," Kentucky's head coach said on KSR this morning. The "one or two" Stoops is referring to are wide receiver Devonta Lee and defensive back Jay Ward.  While Lee was always perceived as a toss-up at best for Kentucky, the Cats were locked into Ward entering NSD.  Some late breaking developments have made Stoops and Vince Marrow's job more difficult. Ward initially de-committed from Kentucky this fall after attending an LSU game at Death Valley.  UK regained all of that ground, but this morning LSU is gaining steam.  The Tigers missed on one cornerback when Christian Williams flipped from Alabama to Miami.  Now LSU has turned to Ward to fill that vacancy.  It will be a fight to the finish between Kentucky and LSU.
