by:Matt Jones11/20/06
As the Cats continue their Maui journey, we here at Kentucky Sports Radio continue our introductions of the Kentucky Sports Radio Girls, with the last of the girls, Amy. Amy's profile is below and there you can learn all you need to know. We are still looking for one more KSR Girl, so if you know anyone who may be interested, shoot me an email at [email protected]. It can either be you or someone you nominate, so just let me know. As for Amy, here is her MYSPACE site. She lives in the suburbs of Louisville and is ready to be part of the Kentucky Sports Radio family. Welcome her.... Amy Age: 22 Hometown: Floyds Knobs, IN Reason Amy wanted to be a Kentucky Sports Radio Girl: I have always been a huge sports fan and have followed college basketball and football for years. When I heard about the opportunity with Kentucky Sports Radio, I thought it would be a great opportunity to get to spend some time around sports, be on the radio occasionally and travel to games. I think the show is really funny and Matt and the guys are hilarious! Favorite Kentucky Player: My all-time favorite player is Jeff Sheppard. I loved the way he played so aggressively and was such a great shooter. Plus it didnt hurt that he was pretty hot too! As for the players now, I like all the young guys. I think Derrick Jasper is going to be a star and I like the way he leads the team, so he is probably my favorite of the current group. Favorite Kentucky team memory: My favorite memory is the 1998 Kentucky team. I loved the way they kept having to come back in the tournament and they were so exciting to watch. Plus they were able to beat Duke, which is something I always am a big fan of. What you are looking forward to this year: I am really looking forward to getting to be around basketball and traveling to games and the pre-game shows. I think it will be great to meet all the fans and the people who like the show. Plus, the guys tend to end up in odd situations and I cant wait to be there for them (like maybe another White Castle Challenge!) Your prediction for UK: I know people are skeptical, but I think this team can make the Final 4!
