Michael Hartline: All we need is a little patience (part III)

by:Thomas Beisner09/15/08
Just kidding. I think we'll both be happy to not have another installment of that this week. But a big boost for Hartline's confidence this week as he was named SEC Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Middle Tennessee. Hartline was 28-47 for 245 yards and two touchdowns. Had Hartline not had a touchdown wiped off because of a penalty (on an outstanding athletic play) and had his receivers played something other than awful, his numbers might have been even more impressive.  He also has 96 consecutive attempts without an interception. Tim Masthay was also named as a player with an Outstanding Performance in Week 2.
