West Chester, Ohio running back Mikel Horton is the second member of Kentucky's 2014 recruiting class to take advantage of the new NCAA rule. Horton tweeted, "Just faxed my letter of intent official Wildcats status". Though he says it is his LOI, the form he signed and faxed in is actually for financial aid. Horton can still opt out of his commitment to the University of Kentucky if he decides to, but by signing the paperwork, UK is locked into giving him a scholarship. The new process is perfect for the student-athlete. Thaddeus Snodgrass was the first to send in his form yesterday. Welcome aboard, boys.
