I couldn't help but like Mississippi State's head coach Rick Ray when I heard him speak in the post-came press conference after losing to Kentucky. Despite the disappointing loss, Ray came off as a genuinely honest and up-front type of guy, who really wants to make something of a floundering Mississippi State program. He also had the appearance of a guy who knew he was fighting an uphill battle. That's why when I saw that his team got an upset victory over Ole Miss in SEC play action last night, I was genuinely happy for the guy. Ray showcased how good it must have felt to get the monkey off his back and score a nice SEC win. How did he showcase his excitement? Through dance, obviously.
Good for you, Rick Ray. Good for you. Instead of Rick Rolling people (if there are still people out there that even do that...), we should all start Rick Ray-ing people and linking this video.
