It turns out that Ibrahim Johnson's big plan to ruin his younger brother's college career isn't going to work. Today the NCAA ruled Mohamed Bamba eligible to play at Texas despite allegations from Johnson about Bamba's relationship with Greer Love, a financial advisor out of Detroit. “He’s not going to play this year in the NCAA because I already reported him to the NCAA and I’m already going to meet with the NCAA,” Johnson said on Facebook Live. “He’s not going to play this year. I’m not going to lie to you. I exposed that kid." The relationship between Bamba and Love has since been cleared and vetted, so sorry about ya, Ibrahim. Today's statement from the NCAA read, "After evaluating all available information, the NCAA determined the assistance Greer Love provides to Mohamed Bamba does not violate rules. Bamba remains certified by the NCAA Eligibility Center." Bamba will now proceed as planned as the Longhorns' star freshman.
