By now, you know it, I know it, and the bum living under the bridge knows it: Andrew Wiggins is a beast. But that doesn’t make hearing about how awesome he is get old. After his breakout performance at the Peach Jam, CBS Sports’ Jeff Goodman called Wiggins “the best player in the country, regardless of class” and ESPN recruiting analyst Paul Biancardi agrees:

Wiggins is the most dynamic athletic force in high school basketball right now. He has a lightning-quick first step and on his second leap he is literally in the air as his opponent is just getting ready to jump. Wiggins had 23 points in the semifinal versus Mokan Elite (Kansas City) and in the final against the Oakland Soldiers, in which he also had eight rebounds. If Wiggins is not the best high school player in America, regardless of class, he deserves to be in the conversation.

It looks like we’ll have to wait a while until Wiggins faces Jabari Parker, whom Sports Illustrated anointed “the best high school basketball player since LeBron James,” but is it too much to dream for that at least one, or maybe both (!), will have committed to the Cats by then? A girl can dream.

Obligatory Wiggins highlight reel (with a little Aaron Gordon for good measure):
