More Than I Can Deal With....

bigbilly.jpg After spending the night doing something else and then coming home to watch the game on DVR (with no idea the result), the Cats once again were dealt the short end of the straw, falling to the Gators in overtime in a game that was there for the taking. In many ways, the game was the mirror image of the Mississippi State game, as the Cats spent most of the second half behind, made a late run at the end, but were unable to pull through and pick up the victory. Ramel Bradley's shot that sent the game into overtime was exciting and had me out of my seat....but his running left-handed layup in overtime was not quite as exciting. The Cats once again played ok, but also left you feeling that a much greater game was possible. It was good to see Meeks and Jasper out there again, but they both arent completely 100% and it shows in their play. I will have more on the game tomorrow, plus our special Kentucky Sports Radio post-game podcast. But for now, it was a tough game to watch.....too much Gators....too much Tebow....and even too much Jai Lucas. For now, its late and I will attempt to fall asleep through the nightmare of the image of Razor Ramon taking our three pointer with a minute to go down two. Oh well.....at least we get Bruce Pearl on Tuesday.....
