Muhammad Ali Helped Phoenix Get the Final Four

We all know Muhammad Ali is from Louisville. However, after he fully 'retired' he decided to spend his time in Phoenix, which is part of the reason that city is hosting the Final Four in 2017. It is just now starting to come out that Ali penned a letter to then-NCAA Chairman Ron Wellman pitching Phoenix as a Final Four host.
Ali talked about how he regularly attended sporting events in Phoenix including a game between Louisville and Minnesota at University of Phoenix Stadium, which he envisioned as a great Final Four venue. You can read the whole letter here:
