NCAA shot down Kentucky/Notre Dame charity exhibition
Today in “The NCAA Sucks”: according to Jeff Goodman, Kentucky and Notre Dame were planning on playing an exhibition game for charity, but the NCAA shot it down.
It sounded as if there was a chance that Notre Dame was going to play Kentucky, but NCAA killed it by not allowing a third “charity” preseason scrimmage/exhibition.

NCAA instituted a rule in which college programs cannot add a third “charity” scrimmage, instead it needs to count as one of the two scimmages/exhibitions allowed. Makes no sense … and thus, there aren’t many “charity” scrimmages this year. That’s a shame … and for what reason?

Last season, Kentucky hosted Morehead State to raise money for victims of hurricanes in Florida and Puerto Rico and the wildfires in California. Can you imagine the money they’d raise with a charity game vs. Notre Dame? To quote our old friend Antoine Dodson, you are so dumb, NCAA. You are really dumb. For real.
