Some members of the Big Blue Nation are having a tough time coping with another early postseason exit for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Chevy Chase Inn, known as the oldest bar in Lexington, might be having the toughest time of them all though. The drinking establishment is now offering a promotional drink called the “Fire Cal” shot, which is just a $4 shot of Fireball, throughout the rest of March Madness.

Grant Peters of Mercury shared a video of the promotion on social media, which you can watch below.

“Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the Chevy Chase Inn, Lexington, Kentucky’s oldest bar, where we’ve been cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats for over 90 years,” Kevin Heathcoat, co-owner of the bar, said. “Usually, this is when we’re celebrating March Madness. Once again this year, celebrating March Sadness. And with any good celebration, you’ve got to have a drink. So this year, we’ve got the FireCal shot. You know, it just makes sense.

“So, we invite everybody to come down during March Sadness, and come FireCal with us, and we’ll see what happens. But, I think it’s time, that we all FireCal. And hey Mitch Barnhart, first one is on me. Shots fired.”

This is certainly an… interesting tactic to try and attract customers — a tactic that every drunken 21-year-old college student at UK probably thought up the night of Kentucky’s loss to Oakland in the NCAA Tournament on Thursday.

But hey, you do you, Chevy Chase Inn.
