P.J. Washington is now down to three schools.

The five-star power forward removed UNLV from consideration today, leaving only Kentucky, North Carolina and Arizona in the hunt for his services.

Of course, Washington visited Lexington over the weekend for Big Blue Madness, not even a full month after taking his official visit to Kentucky back in September. He then hosted Kenny Payne for an in-home visit on Monday, according to his father, to Adam Zagoria.

Paul Washington Sr. recently told Zagoria, “I think every high school kid looks at the college that they want to go to and how many people they have in the pros and the one thing that that stands out with Kentucky is Calipari puts them in the league at a rapid rate. I heard somebody say that most coaches probably don’t have five players in the league, he’s got five people on one team in Phoenix. So that’s big-time, that’s big-time.”

Kentucky is the heavy favorite in Washington’s recruitment, although he will visit Arizona this coming weekend. He took his official to UNC in late September.
