Over the last 24 hours rumors have been flying around the Bluegrass that P.J. Washington injured his foot in Kentucky's SEC Tournament semifinal loss to Tennessee. Once they first surfaced, KSR checked the tape and scoured social to see the alleged injury.  The research produced nothing, but this afternoon we discovered Washington is in fact wearing a boot. UK officials tell KSR the sophomore forward has been wearing a walking boot since Sunday for "precautionary reasons." As of now, there's no reason to panic.  The severity of the injury is unknown.  The team is currently on their way to Jacksonville. John Calipari will have an update on Washington's status tomorrow afternoon. Kentucky is scheduled to take the Veterans Memorial Arena court in Jacksonville for an open practice tomorrow afternoon at 3:25 p.m. ET. [mobile_ad]
