Patrick Patterson breaks out

patrick-patterson-rockets In their first game since returning from the All-Star hiatus, the Houston Rockets beat the Detroit Pistons thanks to a big night from KSR's most athletically gifted commenter.  Former Cat Patrick Patterson busted out in a big way in the Motor City, registering 20 points and 5 rebounds in only 22 minutes of action.  Patterson's performance was particulary impressive considering he played the entire fourth quarter of a close game, keeping Chuck Hayes and Luis Scola on the bench, and strung together seven-straight points and turned a one-point deficit into a six-point lead and put the Pistons away for good.  It was a fantastic start to a second half of the season that could see a significant bump in playing time for the Wildcat legend.  And, again, it confirms there's magic in Rupp. Watch him work:
