Paul Finebaum puts Kentucky in his final top 10 college football rankings

Is Kentucky worthy of a top-ten finish in the final college football rankings? At least one big-name analyst seems to think so. Paul Finebaum of the SEC Network released his post-bowl rankings, and the Kentucky Wildcats came in at No. 10 overall. The Wildcats were one of five total SEC schools listed, with Alabama (No. 1), LSU (No. 6), Georgia (No. 8), and Florida (No. 9) also representing the conference. Back in September, Paul Finebaum took to his radio show to tell the world the Wildcats were one of the top teams in all of college football. “I believe Kentucky is a top ten football team," he said. "I think if you took the name off of the jersey then this team is a top ten team. The national media will take care of itself as long as Kentucky keeps winning.” Over three months later following a 10-win season and a Citrus Bowl victory over Penn State, Finebaum is standing by his word.
