John Pelphrey has been shown to be a bit of a sage. He turned down his first chance to go to a major conference when he turned down the Big East job at South Florida. And now he has been rewarded, as tonight we find out that he will
become the new coach at Arkansas. This brings Pelphrey into the SEC and now will put a comparison for UK fans in the years to come. Some wanted Pelphrey or Travis Ford as the UK coach.....now they will have him in conference to see what his coaching level will reach.
For the record, I think Pelphrey got a job that is good for him....but UK made the right choice in Gillispie. Congrats to a great Kentucky legend.....well until he plays in Rupp......
