Penny Hardaway has the top-ranked recruiting class in America and he wants his incoming freshmen to get a shot at John Calipari’s Kentucky Wildcats.

In a Tuesday afternoon press conference in Memphis to discuss his new recruiting haul, Hardaway was asked about any new progress on establishing a home-and-home series with Calipari. He admitted he hasn’t talked to Calipari since the Final Four, but he plans to reach out again about scheduling a game, whether it be a home-and-home or a neutral site, potentially in Nashville.

“I’ll definitely be talking to him about a home-and-home and even a neutral site,” Hardaway said. “We talked about a neutral site before.”

Hardaway added that he will play anybody and not just because of his new recruiting class. He always wants to play the best, he said.
