POINT SPREAD: Opening Line for Kentucky at Missouri

Wow. Can you believe it? Just like that, we are at the finish line of the 2024-25 Kentucky basketball regular season. The Wildcats will end the season away from Rupp, on the road at Mizzou Arena. Kentucky is playing a Tiger team for the third straight game, and Missouri is trying to dodge a third-straight loss. Here’s how Las Vegas handicaps the matchup.
Kentucky opens as a 3.5-point underdog against Missouri. The total is set at 170.5.
The computers give Missouri a slight advantage at home. KenPom forecasts a final score of 86-83, while Bart Torvik is calling for an 88-83 victory for the Tigers.
Missouri is returning to Mizzou Arena after losing in overtime at Vanderbilt and taking a double-digit L at Oklahoma. Despite the recent performances, the Missouri turnaround has been incredible, from winless in league play a year ago to fifth in the SEC standings.
The dramatic turnaround has made them a great pick Against the Spread (ATS). They are 17-13 ATS this season. They have covered in every home SEC game, except for an outright loss to Texas A&M. The over is the real moneymaker. Missouri overs have cashed in six straight contests and nine of the last eleven.
Over bettors have been rewarded when wagering on Kentucky as of late, too. The Cats have gone over in three straight games. However, Kentucky has only covered once in its last four road games, and that required a prayer from Otega Oweh to secure the backdoor.

A loss for the Wildcats on Saturday secures the No. 8 seed in the SEC Tournament. There are a lot of possibilities if Kentucky can knock off Missouri on Senior Day.
