Ramel Bradley on the loose
For those of you who didnt read about this earlier, I thought I would remind folks about the greatness that was Ramel Bradley yesterday. Ramel is one of my favorite people to talk with, in part because he is a joyous personality who wants to engage with everyone he meets (and he is great with little kids). Yesterday, he walked into the post-game press conference wearing a pair of sunglasses and a fur coat. As he walked in, he told anyone who would listen (while Rick Pitino was talking)….”I am so Hollywood.”
I asked him about the coat and he said he stole it from King Kong. After the media people BEGGED him to take off the sunglasses, he did….however he left the coat on and it became the centerpiece of the questions. Bradley is consistently asked to come into the post game talks, mainly because he is a great interview and the reporters know they can rely on him for good copy. I like him because he will rap our theme song to the show and because he always greets me with a “so what did you think of Smooth?” Very Reggie Jackson-esque.
