We don't have enough time for me to explain why Marcus Lee is my favorite player on the team. I'll save that one for a rainy day, when I feel like writing 25,000 words. But I will share with you one of the many reasons why he's the best, a story Coach Cal told during his post-NKU press conference.
When leaving the locker room to make their way out to the court prior to the game, Coach Cal looked over at Marcus and saw that he wasn't wearing shoes.
"Marcus, where are your shoes? Cal asked him.
"Oh yeah, I forgot," he responded.
Lee, so hyped up for his second game as a Wildcat,
walked out of the Kentucky locker room in his bare feet. I don't know how that happens, but with Marcus, I completely understand. It's a very Marcus Lee thing to do.
And that, my friends, is why Marcus Lee is Marcus Lee and he's going to be a fan favorite at Kentucky.
