Reed Sheppard set to announce college decision Saturday at 9 a.m.

The Reed Sheppard Sweepstakes will come to a close by the weekend. The four-star class of 2023 combo guard out of London, KY, is expected to announce his college decision this Saturday at 9 a.m. inside of North Laurel High School, multiple sources tell KSR.
Sheppard is considering the likes of Kentucky, Virginia, Ohio State, Indiana, and Louisville. UK is perceived as the frontrunner to land the in-state star. The 6-foot-3 guard was in Lexington for Big Blue Madness during the preseason and has been heavily recruited by the UK staff ever since picking up an offer back in July.
“Reed had a positive experience,” Jeff Sheppard, father of Reed, told KSR last month. “It was a lot of fun for him and he had a really good weekend.“
Sheppard exploded onto the national scene this summer thanks to a terrific run in the AAU circuit for Midwest Basketball Club. He picked up several Power 5 offers and earned five-star status by a couple of recruiting outlets.
