Some details have emerged from the Ridge Wilson arrest. According to the police report, a cruiser spotted Wilson parked near Sixth and Oak Streets in Louisville, an area known for its drugs. The officer saw Wilson leaned down in the car so he pulled over to check it out. Wilson was
acting extremely nervous and kept telling the officer he played football at UK. The officer asked him if there was anything illegal in the car and then Wilson gave him permission to search the vehicle.
During the search, police found a pair of jeans in the backseat with
a bag of Xanex pills in one of the pockets. Wilson also had almost $2,000 in cash on him in the jeans he was wearing.
Wilson was booked into Louisville Metro Corrections and released after posting $1,500 bond.
UK has suspended the linebacker indefinitely from the team.
