[caption id="attachment_117472" align="alignnone" width="380"] This season's 1st edition of College Gameday is on ESPN right meow. I'll tune in, so long as Digger Phelps doesn't show up.[/caption]   Here are some links to get you through your Governor's Cup Eve. - The London Olympics may have ended a couple of weeks ago, but the 2012 Paralympics just got under way two days ago. My cousin, and Bellarmine Grad Dennis Ogbe enters the competition as a favorite in both shotput and discus. Dennis has not only had face adversity with his disability, but also as an immigrant from Nigeria. His story is remarkable and worth the time it takes to watch a two-minute video. - Golf this weekend began a day later, with Tiger Woods scoring an opening round 64 in the Deutsche Bank Championship at T.P.C. Boston. It was Woods' lowest scoring round in 3 years, but it still wasn't good enough for the lead with South Korean Seung-yul Noh shooting a 62. - On Thursday, Andy Roddick announced that he was going to retire at the conclusion of the U.S. Open. Yesterday he extended his career another day, defeating Bernard Tomic 6-3, 6-4, 6-0. Roddick will live to die another day when he faces Italian Fabio Fagnini Sunday. Roddick's only major championship win was at the 2003 U.S. Open. - Anthony Davis sat down for an interview with NY Times reporter Steve Brescia last week. The interview is filled with a bunch of quick-hitters that Davis has learned to kill in interviews. I just can't get enough Brow.
