The 2018 superstar wing from New Albany, Indiana revealed a few things today in his first USA Today blog.  Like many other elite college basketball players, he'll write his thoughts about the recruitment process throughout the next year, starting with his journey to Cairo for the FIBA U19 World Cup.  Before departing, Langford decided he will not talk to college coaches until after they speak with his parents.

"My parents and I decided when it all started that the coaches would go through them to contact me. It just works better for me that way so I can just focus on getting better and taking care of my schoolwork during the school year.

"The coaches don’t even have my cell number."

Langford shared a story from training camp about his teammate and UK target, Immanuel Quickley.  Their scrimmage had just ended and Quickley was already taking a call from a college coach.  "For now, going through my parents is what works best for me," Langford added. The only other player Langford mentioned in the post also has a UK connection.  Make what you will of it. "The player that has impressed me the most in the scrimmages is Hami (Diallo). He’s really good and very athletic." [USA Today: Romeo Langford Blog]
