Scott Drew: "God has called my family and I to continue our work here at Baylor"

Scott Drew has made it official: Waco is home.
First, it was the Louisville job he was forced to turn down. Now, he passes on an opportunity to work alongside close friend Mitch Barnhart in Lexington at Kentucky.
The Baylor head coach said his family’s heart is in Texas and the goal is to win more national championships with the Bears.

“In our program, we strive to put Jesus first, then others, then ourselves. We truly believe God has called my family and I to continue our work here at Baylor, surrounded by the best people and community anyone could be blessed to have. We are grateful for the support of Mack Rhoades, President Livingstone and the entire Baylor Family, and we look forward to working together to bring more championships to Waco.”
21 years at one place is a long time, but home is home. Hard to leave the place you built from the ground up across two decades.
Scott Drew is officially a Waco lifer.
