Scottie Wilbekin (5) at half time in the second half of Wednesday night's game. Stop me if you've heard this one before: Florida point guard Scottie Wilbekin has been suspended. Again. Wilbekin has been suspended indefinitely for an unspecified violation of team rules. It's the second time in seven months the point guard has been suspended, the first coming at the beginning of last season when he was forced to sit out the first three games of the year for another undisclosed violation. The rising senior has a bit of a history as a troublemaker; in addition to the suspension last season, he was also benched by Billy Donovan in February for a lack of effort in practice, something he called "a wakeup call." Wilbekin's suspension leaves Florida's backcourt a little thinner, with incoming freshman Kasey Hill, sophomore Michael Frazier, and transfer Eli Carter expected to man the ship until his return. Last season, Wilbekin averaged 9.1 points and 5 assists.
