If the SEC Tournament started today, Kentucky would be the No. 7 seed with a first-round bye. The Cats' first opponent would be LSU in the quarterfinals, and that game would have the 6 pm (CT) time slot on Thursday. Tennessee, the tournament's No. 2 seed, would be waiting on Friday if Kentucky advanced; while Florida would likely be the semifinal opponent should things go that far. Kentucky is 0-3 against those two teams this season. But if the tournament were to tip today, the bracket would be as you see above. For what it's worth, Kentucky currently has a 9.76 percent chance to win the tournament, according to TeamRanking.com's projections. The site believes Kentucky will end up with the No. 6 seed after the finishing this season with a 9-9 conference record.
