Following a stellar and unexpected freshman year at Kentucky, the 11th overall pick in June’s draft will join a long list of former Kentucky players who have also signed with Nike.
That list that includes Eric Bledsoe, Devin Booker, DeMarcus Cousins, Anthony Davis, De’Aaron Fox, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Trey Lyles, Malik Monk, Julius Randle, and Karl-Anthony Towns. Some rather elite company, if you ask me.
The terms of the deal have not currently been disclosed.

SGA had an impressive Summer League performance and has been one of the most hyped guards to come out of this draft, it was only a matter of time before the endorsements began to trickle in.
SGA joins fellow rookies Jaren Jackson Jr. and Miles Bridges as players who have recently received Nike deals.

He should be an easy player to market, as evidenced by his draft day attire, his #dontmindmydrip movement, and now being a part of the Los Angeles media stream.
Along with SGA, his former Kentucky teammate and current New York Knick, Kevin Knox, is being wooed by another athletic wear company, Puma.
Somebody tell @KevKnox we WANNA SIGN him ASAP #NOCAP #pumafam

Knox was the number nine overall pick in the same draft as SGA. Puma has been hot on the basketball trail this offseason, already signing other rookies such as Marvin Bagley III, Michael Porter Jr, and Zhaire Smith along with veteran Rudy Gay.
