We’re playing ba-sket-ball, we love that ba-sket-ball. Talking season is over (except for gas bags like us) and practice has begun, Mark Pope breaking out his blue whistle for the start of on-court instruction in Lexington. All 12 signees are on campus and made their unofficial debuts in blue and white, now midway through their first week of practice at the Joe Craft Center.

What are the early returns on this new batch of Wildcats and coaches — if any? How have the first few weeks gone with the team moved in and ready to roll? And what is to come in the recruiting world as Pope and his staff turn toward the future while getting the current guys ready to roll for 2024-25?
